Introduction to Legal Research

Nexis Uni

Any research of antitrust laws and topics will require you go to the Eugene McDermott Library website.

Click on the Databases tab. Then click on the letter 'N'. Scroll down to click on Nexis Uni in the list. You will be prompted to sign in with your SSO logon.

In the upper left, click on Menu, then click All Sources.

Type Antitrust into the Search Within Sources box.

Results do not show the Antitrust Tracker, but there will be other antitrust material.

Click the three dots on the far right to add any title to your search then go back to the upper search box and type in a word, company name, industry, etc. Each result will have hyperlinked citations, which will show activity on the case. There will be several pages and you can use these options to download, save, print, etc.

U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Case Tracker

Another useful source of information is an antitrust case tracker, which is maintained through the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The tracker is searchable and in most likelihood Nexis Lexis's Tracker pulls content from there.

The Antitrust Division also maintains a site for searching Antitrust Case Filings.

If the U.S. Department of Justice's website does not have all the content of a case, return to Lexis Uni to pull up all activity and referring citations of a case.
