Duplicating a Reading List

How to Duplicate/Copy a Reading List in the Library Course Reserves system

  1. Navigate to the reading list URL:

  1. Look at Lists, and find the one you want to copy.

    1. Lists are titled via course number, course name, and the semester of the course. If the same reading list has been used for multiple semesters, it is likely only the most recent semester will display.

    1. To navigate to the Lists page, click on the three-line hamburger icon on the top left of the browser and click Lists.

    1. If the desired List is not displaying, check if there are any assigned filters. Clear them out, to see all lists.

  1. Next to the desired list, click on the ellipsis and Duplicate list.

  1. Once the list is duplicated, it will retain all the same title info as the original list, except it will include a “(1)” after the list title. To update this to reflect the current information, click on the new list’s title to open up the list. At the top of the list, by the title, click on the ellipsis and Edit.
