Click this link and fill out the form. Use your university email (Justin.Example@utdallas.edu).

You will need verify your e-mail address so check for an e-mail from support@orcid.org and click the verification link. (If you have issues with verifying your e-mail address, look here for support)

It's recommended that you add a non-university e-mail address so you don’t lose access when you change institutions for whatever reason.
