ALAS is an organization that was founded to raise awareness of Latin American culture. Our organization is open to all Latinx nationalities. The organization's mission is to create a place where everyone can socialize and simply be themselves. Our purpose is to help Latinx students become adjusted to the UT-Dallas community.

OUR MISSION is to provide leadership in shaping the future of our Fraternity; deliver innovative solutions to help promote our brothers & fraternity achieve their goals; and, to raise the social and cultural conscience of the Latino college student and community. OUR VISION is to be the acknowledged leader and ultimate Latino fraternity in helping our members succeed in the rapidly evolving Latino community and to lead by example as the new leadership of the premier Latino fraternity, assist our brotherhood in building upon our over 45 year strong foundation.

As the largest and oldest national civil rights organization, we are dedicated to serving our Latinx community. Here at UTD we focus on serving our community, educating about Latin American cultures, and practicing team leadership. We strive to develop a future consisting of the advancement of the Latinx community and make dreamers into leaders.
