Coronavirus Resources
This guide is currently a work in progress. More content will be added with new information and resources when time allows. This is intended to serve as a guide to resources concerning the novel coronavirus, also commonly known as COVID-19. This outbreak caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus can also be referred to as just coronavirus or nCov. For any official updates from the university regarding the coronavirus, please refer to their webpage linked below.
Misinformation is also an issue for those who seek out news and updates regarding COVID-19. For ways to combat this, please review the 'Combating Misinformation' tab on the left side for guidance and resources.
- CMMID on COVID-19The Centre for Mathematical Modeling and Infectious Diseases have established a page regarding their work on COVID-19, which discusses patterns of transmission, severity, control measures, and outbreak dynamics.
- COVID-19 Economic Impact Assessment TemplateThis template looks at the potential economy- and sector-specific economic impact of the COVID-19 outbreak.
- Disaster LitThis resource is a database of links to disaster medicine and public health documents available at no cost, hosted by the National Library of Medicine.
- LitCovidLitCovid is a curated literature hub for tracking up-to-date scientific information about COVID-19.
- COVID-19 SARS-CoV-2 preprints from medRxiv and bioRxivFree online archive and distribution server for complete but unpublished manuscripts. Important: preprints are preliminary reports of work that have not been peer-reviewed and should not be relied on to guide clinical practice or health-related behavior.
- Cochrane on COVID-19This Special Collection is one of two collections on COVID-19, and it focuses on evidence relevant to critical care. Another companion collection is also available pertaining to infection control and prevention measures.
- Search Strategies for COVID-19 ResearchGuidance on how to construct searches for research concerning COVID-19, maintained by Public Health England.
