EarthShare Texas is a nonprofit federation that supports local environmental and conservation charities across the Lone Star State.

Earthx, formerly Earth Day Texas, is an annual, outdoor festival seeking to elevate environmental awareness and influence the way North Texans think, live and work. The family-friendly and free event allows leaders in the corporate, academic and non-profits worlds to unite and show North Texans how green lifestyles choices can lower their cost of living, improve their health, and help save the environment.

Environment Texas works for clean air, clean water, clean energy, wildlife and open spaces, and a livable climate. Our members across the state put grassroots support behind our research and advocacy.

We envision a greener Texas: one that protects more places where nature can thrive, and offers us and our children a greater opportunity to live healthier, more enriching lives. Through our research, public education, advocacy, litigation and action, we advance policies and practices that put our state and our country on a better path.

Green Source DFW is an award-winning digital publication covering environmental news in North Texas. Launched in 2011, the educational site was created by the Memnosyne Institute, a Dallas-based nonprofit, to educate the community about environmental topics including green living, sustainability, conservation, environmental advocacy and public policy discussions.

The State of Texas Alliance for Recycling’s (STAR) mission is to advance recycling through partnerships, education, and advocacy for the benefit of Texas. STAR is a 501c3 non-profit advocacy organization whose membership has over 300 people representing government, private industry, educational, and not-for-profit organizations that have an interest in advancing recycling in Texas.

Texan by Nature (TxN) exists to advance conservation that is beneficial to people, prosperity, and natural resources. TxN partners deeply with conservation groups and business, acting as an accelerator for conservation groups and a strategic partner for business.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is the environmental agency for the state. We have approximately 2,800 employees, located in our central office in Austin and 16 regional offices around Texas.

Texas Land Conservancy is a 501(c)3 conservation organization dedicated to protecting the land, water, and wildlife of Texas from the negative effects of land fragmentation and poorly-planned development. We work with communities, private landowners, and other partners to preserve land, restore native habitats, and connect people to nature.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that advances Texas’ proud outdoor traditions through meaningful, high-impact programs, partnerships, and a wide range of projects that conserve and enhance our state’s lands, waters, and wildlife. Its vision is for all Texans to have access to the wild things and wild places in our state, both now and for generations to come.
