Comets Endure

Creating a digital time capsule for UTD Covid-19 experiences.

What is Comets Endure?

In March of 2020, in response to a growing global pandemic of the Covid-19 virus, The University of Texas at Dallas closed buildings and rapidly transitioned to online classes.  Many confusing changes followed over the course of the year and into 2021, as students, faculty, and staff responded to the evolving situation. While none of this has been easy, the UTD Comet Spirit endured through it.

Comets Endure is a project by Eugene McDermott Library and the University Archives to attempt to capture, honor, and preserve some of the unique stories and experiences that have come out of this tumultuous time. Submissions will be open through the end of the 2021-2022 academic year.
