The Brettell Reading Room

Welcome to the Brettell Reading Room!  Are you looking for a quiet, beautiful and inspirational place to study or research? Come visit our Reading Room located in the at the Edith and Peter O’Donnell Jr. Athenaeum on the southwest side of the University of Texas at Dallas Campus. Here you will be greeted with comfortable chairs and couches, serene atmosphere and beautifully clean aesthetics all surrounded by a beautiful collection of art, art history & architectural books from the personal collection of Dr. Rick Brettell. We are adjacent to the JSOM building, between Loop Road and University Parkway. Parking is available in the museum lot (pay & park) as well as Lot F, J and M. Community Visitors are welcome.
