Introduction
The following guide will provide various starting points for those conducting research on topics in philosophy and/or religion.
- Each of the Books tabs will direct the researcher to reference books, encyclopedias and ebooks helpful for getting background information on subjects, key figures, and literature in philosophy and religion.
- The Find Articles tab will direct the user to those databases pertinent for finding articles in journals and magazines both recent and archived.
- How to Read a Citation provides simple directions on how to decipher a given citation and see if the library owns the item (book, journal, article) in question.
- Journals: Scholarly vs. Popular explains the different kinds of periodical literature available to the researcher and how he/she can limit searches to one kind of journal or the other.
