What is Interlibrary Loan?

The Interlibrary Loan Department borrows books and articles from other libraries. If you need something that the McDermott Library doesn't own, you can request it from the Interlibrary Loan Department.

To submit an Interlibrary Loan request, click here.

All current UT Dallas faculty, staff, and students may use Interlibrary Loan. Items that must be returned usually arrive in 5 to 10 days, and articles are generally received within 1 to 3 days.
